Modi in Ayodhya – Prime Minister Modi Inaugurate 6 Vande Bharat & 2 Amrit Bharat Train.

Ayodhya Nagari is Getting Ready

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Ayodhya today to unveil several significant national projects. Among them are eight new trains, with six belonging to the Vande Bharat Express category and two categorized as Amrit Bharat trains.

PM Modi in a wonderful Development for Ayodhya Nagari have officially launched all eight trains today. While some will commence their journeys from Ayodhya, others will be inaugurated remotely by the Prime Minister through video conferencing.

The Vande Bharat Express, already operational on multiple routes across India, is an AC chair car train that is self-propelled, boasting a speed potential of 160 kmph. On the other hand, the Amrit Bharat trains, designed with the comfort and travel needs of the common man in mind, will feature non-air-conditioned second class unreserved coaches and sleeper coaches. These trains will operate on a push-pull technology with a speed potential of 130 kmph, each equipped with a 6000 WAP5 locomotive on both ends.

Vande Bharat Express train routes:

  1. Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi Vande Bharat Express
  2. Amritsar – Delhi Junction Vande Bharat Express
  3. Coimbatore – Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express
  4. Jalna – Mumbai (CSMT) Vande Bharat Express
  5. Ayodhya – Anand Vihar Terminal Delhi Vande Bharat Express
  6. Mangaluru – Madgaon Goa Vande Bharat Express

Amrit Bharat Express train routes:

  1. Darbhanga to Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi via Ayodhya Amrit Bharat Express
  2. Malda Town to Bengaluru (Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal) Amrit Bharat Express

Both Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat Express trains are hailed as faster and more comfortable alternatives to the older trains currently serving these routes. In addition to the trains, PM Modi will also inaugurate the new Ayodhya airport and train station ahead of the reopening of the Ram Mandir in the city.
